DUTIES OF THE CLIENT

• To instruct and supervise Swift assignees in the operations they are required to perform, which must include all safety procedures and requirements for the duties in which they are involved prior to the Swift Assignee carrying out such duties. After said induction which must take place at beginning of assignment the induction sheet must be signed by both supervisor and assignee and then faxed to Swift.
• To provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the Swift assignees comply with workplace PPE requirements.
• To co-operate with Swift to assist them to comply with their legal obligations to ensure Swift assignees safety as far as practical while working at your premises.
• To accurately inform Swift of the job classification, or any changes to the job description of any Swift assignee before any change in the Swift Assignee job takes place.
• To inform Swift of any accidents, sickness or problems relating to Swift Assignees immediately. The Client shall participate with Swift in rehabilitation on injured assignees by offering at full rate of pay suitable duties to injured workers (light duties or pre –injury duties) as authorised by nominated doctor under the auspices of work cover legislation NSW.
• Provide to Swift free and unfettered access to any and all equipment and areas of any of the work sites for the purpose of Swift training and/or observing Swift Assignees working in the environment. Also allowing Swift to do safety audits of Selected Sites and to allow for Swift to also train assignees on any equipment on the Selected Sites. The Client shall not at any time utilize Swift Assignees for the work on site other than the Selected Sites which has been assessed and deemed safe by Swift.
• Provide to Swift full particulars of all equipment to be used, operated or cleaned by Swift Assignees prior to the Swift Assignees doing so and such particulars shall include all specifications for the equipment/s operation and their safety procedures.
• The Client agrees that, the assignee be offered full time permanent employment with the client after a period of twelve (12) month employ as a casual assignee with the client.
